Dr. Schultz was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but spent the majority of her childhood in Newnan. She received her pre-doctoral education at Marquette University, graduating Cum Laude in 2007, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Biological Sciences. In 2008, Dr. Schultz entered dental school at the Georgia Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine, and received her doctoral degree in 2012. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health in 2013.
Dr. Schultz has been in private practice in the Newnan, Peachtree City, and Buckhead areas since 2013. She is a volunteer at the Coweta Samaritan Dental Clinic, where she enjoys spending time with students in dental assisting school and caring for Coweta county’s underserved. She also hosts interns each semester from West Georgia Tech’s Dental Assisting Program, so that they can experience great on-the-job training.
Dr. Schultz has since continued her involvement with organized dentistry and scholarship, serving as the Co-Editor for the Northern District Dental Society newsletter, the author of several different dental publications, and a contributing author for Dr. Ronald Goldstein’s book, Esthetics in Dentistry.
“I opened Schultz Family Dental in June 2017 with one assistant and an office manager. We have now grown to a team of 9 (office manager, scheduling coordinator, front desk administrator, three hygienists, two assistants, and myself).”
“We offer a high-quality, personalized approach to dentistry. I designed our office to feel less like a dental practice and more like a spa.”
“We have an extensive comfort menu for our patients, designed to alleviate stress that often comes with dental visits.”
“I am the only doctor in the practice, and I find a lot of joy/fulfillment in getting to know my patients, understanding their goals for dental care, and helping them achieve those goals–while maintaining the highest level of dental health possible.”
“We are a private practice–no gimmicks or corporate sales pitches or one-size-fits-all–we have the education and ability to be able to custom-tailor treatment plans to each patient’s individual needs.”
“I’m a big believer in continuing education–our team collectively spends hundreds of hours per year advancing our skill sets and knowledge bases, learning about new technology and its implementation in everyday-practice, and understanding how to create a dental experience that is bar-none in our area.”
“I love music and art (have a background in concert violin), so everything in our office is very boutique–from the art on our walls, to our candles/soaps/lotions, to our Spotify playlists–everything is curated to give our patients a unique dental experience–hopefully something they look forward to!”
“I provide a wide range of restorative dental services: whitening, veneers, crowns, bridges, implant treatment, dentures. etc. My favorite cases are cosmetic, because I love to change a life by changing a smile!”
“We are a digital office–digital x-rays, digital scans–we are very tech-friendly and advanced when it comes to the most recent advances in dental technology and materials.”
“I work with an Atlanta-based ceramist for all of my restorative treatment–no big-box dental labs–everything is custom-made for our patients.”
“We are starting to introduce Invisalign for our adult patient population–and I’m really excited to roll it out.”
