About HealthSprings Direct:
HealthSprings Direct was started a little over a year ago by Dr. Christa Springston and it has grown in leaps and bounds since that time! The goal was simple – to provide quality care to her patients at a reasonable price. At HealthSprings Direct we provide comprehensive primary care to patients 16 and older managing chronic conditions, assuring our patients are up to date on preventive care, coordinating specialty care, and treating common illnesses or injuries as they arise. We are always there when our patients are sick or hurt, but we also work proactively to keep our patients healthy, happy, and free of preventable diseases. We pride ourselves on accessibility and typically can offer same day or next day visits plus the ability to message, call, or text with your doctor when needed. Our services also include telemedicine visits, wholesale price medication dispensing, advanced testing (genetics, hormone panels, etc), minor procedures, and at-cost lab tests.
About Dr. Jaggers:
Dr. Elizabeth Jaggers joined the practice at the end of 2021 and could not be more excited (for herself and her patients) to have the opportunity to see patients in this setting. She balances evidence-based guidelines with an open-minded approach to develop the most personalized and effective plan for her patients. Elizabeth was born and raised in Fayette County, but moved to the big city (Atlanta) many years ago to attend Mercer University for nursing school and to eventually work at Emory University Hospital as an ER nurse. Then in what she proudly labels a ‘quarter life crisis’, Elizabeth left to attend medical school in Tel Aviv, Israel and complete an Internal Medicine residency in another big city (Manhattan). Since finishing residency, she has worked in the hospital, in primary care, and in corporate wellness, but she feels most fulfilled when she is working one on one with a patient to develop a therapeutic relationship. Her areas of interest include mental health, women’s health, and the impact that nutrition and lifestyle factors can have on a person’s overall wellness. She also has certification as an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate. In 2015, Elizabeth moved back to Georgia to be closer to her favorite babysitters – her parents. She has a 6 year old son, Thomas, a 4 year old daughter, Grace, and a gentle giant of a rescue pitbull named Sadie.
About Dr. Springston:

Dr. Christa Springston is a board certified Internal Medicine doctor that advocates for whole-body health. She helps guide her patients in behavioral, dietary, and habitual improvements to maximize their energy and functionality as well as to prevent life-altering disease processes. Christa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a bachelor of science in biology, and received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. She was residency trained at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware and SSM St. Mary’s Health System in St. Louis, Missouri, where she stayed on to serve as chief resident. Through many cross-country moves with her (now retired) husband’s military career, she had the opportunity to experience and hone many different types of medical care in the hospital, intensive care (ICU), occupational, urgent care, and primary care settings. She also is certified to perform Class 1, 2, and 3 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Exams and Department of Transportation (DOT) exams. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, she has called Georgia home since 2015 and enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
