Gallopade International, located in Peachtree City/Fayette Co. for a long time is celebrating its 45th anniversary on Halloween. Gallopade is the creator of many of the ed tools used in schools around the nation and of fiction and nonfiction books that are exceedingly popular in the area.

AUTHOR Carole Marsh WILL SPEAK TO 350 KIDS AT KEDRON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN HER 1979 DISCO COSTUME (YEAR COMPANY STARTED) AND RESCUE PUP/MYSTERY MUTT, ALSO IN DISCO ATTIRE! It should be a lively photo opp. Carole will sign books of her new international graphic novel mystery series, The Mystery of the Haunted Library.
2:00 PM: Gallopade, 611 Hwy 74S, Ste 2000, will have: a. A fine specimen of a disco-era automobile out front for photo shoots of employees, visitors, and others! b. A loud, live disco party in the conference room; doors open at 2
The author, employees, and dog will all be in disco costumes to celebrate the 45th anniversary.
The author is available for interviews—you’ll find her in her hot pants and disco boots, and she’s a great interview, often appearing on various media over the years during 20 years of school and media visits around the nation. When she wrote The Night Before Christmas in PTC a few years ago, the mayor read it from the top of the PTC Library!
So, great story, great positive photo, and emphasis on all Gallopade has done not just in GA but as a major curriculum provider for states along the southeastern seaboard. Gallopade’s pretty famous but keeps a fairly low profile locally. We thought “Man Alive, We’re 45” was worth letting you know about. There will be food! Help us to celebrate and highlight a company doing great things for students and schools…a positive, upbeat story made for you!
